Dare To Believe!

By: Kim Rhoades

Jesus was always either coming from doing a miracle or on His way to do a miracle. Jesus went about "His Father's business" and would come upon someone in need and He would heal them or send the Word. That tells us how concerned Jesus is about our everyday needs. He was never to busy to help someone.

In John 5:6, Jesus asked the lame man, "Wilt thou be made whole?" Basically, "Do you want to be healed?" Well, of course he did. He had been sitting by the Pool of Bethesda daily waiting for an angel to come and trouble the waters. He was in anticipation for someone to come.

The man answered Jesus and said, "I have no one to throw me into the water to get healed." Jesus, the Healer, the Miracle Worker, was standing in front of him, yet the man did not realize it...His miracle was right before his eyes!"

Sometimes that happens in our own lives. We keep waiting for a miracle, yet God sends miracles everyday that pass us by because we are looking for them to come a certain way, not expecting them to come unexpectantly. Maybe we have even become used to things the way they are. The man at the Pool of Bethesda had been lame thirty-eight (38) years. He was used to the way things were, yet God still asked him, Do you want to be healed?..Do you want to change?

Things for the child of God are always subject to change.

The question is.....Are we willing to change?...and....to be changed?"

You may say, "Yes, but things have always been this way and I have learned to be happy where I am." Well, that's good, you have passed the test of being content where you are with joy. But now it is time to step up higher and say, "Okay God, I'm going to put my faith on the line. I am going to expect and believe and watch for my miracle!"

The Miracle Worker is alive! He arose from the tomb. He is walking toward you. Just begin to reach out...continue to believe and expect....Your answer is on its way! Things for the child of God are always subject to change!

Jesus said to the man in John 5:8, "Rise, take up thy bed and walk." Verse nine says, "...immediately he arose and took up his bed and walked." He just folded up his bed and walked away a changed man.

It is time to fold up our unbelief, doubts, discouragement or whatever we have been lying upon so to speak and walk away...Healed....Free...Restored....a Changed Person!

Dare to believe!! Our miracle is walking toward us or past us! Which one are we grabbing hold of today?
